They Did Not Know They Were In Heaven (Today’s Poetry)

They did not realize that they were in Heaven.

Sometimes it’s like that when you are in a special place.

They came from different backgrounds and yet they were one.

Exploring the Universe while with a great teacher.

They studied and worshiped and became like family.

As they meditated and reflected the world dissapeared.

The place where they met was the home of a master.

To be in such company a rare occassion.

Sometimes it seemed like the whole place was floating.

The whole place was shining with a light like no other.

More than a ritual it was pure intoxication.

Those who did not catch it were soon left behind.

Sometimes the best places are not seen until we leave.

But once you realize you have to go back.

If you can’t go back then you must create anew.

If you lose your ego who says you can’t fly?

My Wonderful Journey (today’s poetry)

And then I saw how the people in my life were gifts, given to me to help shape who I am and who I am becoming.

My grandmother, my grandfather, my family and friends up until this point, had all been gifts.

As I saw this in my mind, there was a beautiful golden rain falling, like a sign telling me these people and times were truly special.

And all the answers were surprisingly being revealed right in the midst of all this beauty.  “And I too am a gift” is what I was told.

And I knew right then with everything in me that my entire life has been magical.

Then a new screen saver pops up on my computer that I had never seen before, reminding me of a great movement on the horizon.

And once again I knew what to do with the rest of my life, as I was taken back to a vision I had years ago.

And even as I write my accounts I remind myself “don’t worry about what anyone thinks just write. So I do.

And then I think back to the page I had just opened up to in my journal, telling me more of who I am and the life I am to live.

And I remember the question I asked just before going within

“What am I going to do with the rest of my life?”

And I am thankful for my wonderful journey.

A Beautiful Thing Is Happening

A beautiful thing is happening

I see more people with whom I want to connect

More beautiful ideas being shared

More positive souls coming together

All on these platforms called social media, blogging etc.

Birds of a feather are flocking together

Beautiful souls of the world can unite

And positive people grow together

And I say keep flying to wonderful new heights

Keep sharing wonderful ideas

Keep expressing the best of who you are

And the world will change as we come together

And the world will change as we come together

And the world will change as we come together

And the world will change

Please Take Away My Ego

fb081-sun_and_sky_

Please take away my ego

Take these thoughts out of my head

Please take away my ego

Fill me up with light instead

Please take away my ego

So I can fulfill the dream

Please take away my ego

I just want to be me

Please take away my ego

So that I can truly give

Please take away my ego

Show me how I must now live

Please take away my ego

So I can fulfill our mission

Please take away my ego

Speak to me and I will listen

What do want me to do?

Where do you want me to go?

How do you want me to be?

What is my next move?

Help me to stay focused

I want to walk in your light

God gives me something to worry about

I chant my mantra all day long.

I meditate deeply and go to places most will never see

I soon see other worlds

I understand life on whole new levels

There is magic and beauty everywhere I go

My problem is far beneath me

I am floating high above the ground

I wonder who can I tell all the marvels that I see

In time they slowly diminish

I am back to everyday life

Where I can see God’s harmony from time to time

and then God gives me something to worry about

And I chant my mantra all day long
