• Be Free!

    Moving into a style
    that I used long ago

    This style that I use
it helped me to be free

    And freedom is a subject
    that I don’t take lightly

    Oh how much
do we want to be free?

    In order to be free
I let go of who I am

    I stand on the mountain
    and soon forget my name

    I meditate deeply
    move with the cosmos

    so how can I care
    about what they think?

    I trust in the Universe
    and I trust in me

    I move on this trust
    every single day

    A new way of life
    Im happy to move into

    One small step
    One small step

    From the seventh floor
I move back to ground level

    And I come back here
    with a brand new style

    I ask the higher place
    what to do next?

    I await like a panther
    about to make a leap

    So now my next move
    is not my next move

    But don’t even trip
    because it really is

    What we really want
    comes from within

    The question is
    do we really know this?

  • From Craig’s Journal (from a temporary low, to a wonderful high in minutes)

    40132-sun-and-sky-20143

I woke up thinking about my life.  There are so many things I want to do and in some ways may be sleeping on.  I remembered the fact that life does not stop for anyone, and that everyday that goes by, I need to be sure to be my authentic self.

In some ways I felt like I was missing the mark, even though for the most part, life is quite good. I also thought about changes that I need to make, and maybe even a dream or two that if I was honest, seemed to be eluding me.  “My perfect relationship, ok most happy relationship, am I in it?  Look at the changes that need to be made. My new meditation center, it’s just a shell of what I would like it to be.  So much potential in so many areas, this is not a test run this is my life!” Needless to say, in that moment, I was not feeling my best.

Then I opened up to a page from my newest, yet to be released book, that I completed at least a year ago. The page was talking about the power of being thankful. I started to feel a little better just reading it. So I decided to put my thankfulness into action. I started thanking God and the Universe for many things. Like my wonderful home, and my children being healthy. I was thankful for my business and being able to be self employed practically all of my life. I thought about all the incredible ways God has blessed me and how the Universe has saved me from what looked like oncoming disaster, so many times.

I was thankful for all my good times, wonderful life and experiences, for my family friends and children. And as far as my meditation center goes. Wow, I actually have one, and it is wonderful, and growing. “Build on it!” Is what I thought. And for the projects that I felt way behind on. I felt appreciation for them and new energy to move on them. I was reminded that this is an adventure. And in my personal life, it has been a great ride and will continue to be. I was back once again, removed from my temporary low.  My exercise in being thankful paid off.

    Peace and Blessings

  • Today’s Poetry (A Secret of the Ages)

    kids-playing

We hold back, afraid it may be taken the wrong way

Thinking we will gain more by playing it safe

We may feel that what we give may not be accepted

How interesting, our grasping, makes our dreams run away

We must shine like the sun, blow like the wind

Let the chips fall where they may, and continue to be free!

What you give may soon be appreciated

The less we are concerned, the more likely it will be

The more we meditate, the less we are concerned

Working without concern is a secret of the ages

You move toward your objective like it means everything

But in your heart of hearts you have already let go

  • A Positive Conversation Amongst Friends

Image result for free images of friends talking

Ck: I have been feeling sick the past couple days.  Sometimes it takes something like this to find out just how good you normally have it.  In the next couple of days when I am back to normal, I am going to be so thankful. The trivial things that normally get me, won’t even be able to touch me.  I’ll just remind myself that I am so fortunate to be able to function without so much pain.

Tr: Why don’t you start doing that now, be so thankful for all that you have right now?

Ck:  Man I knew you were going to say that!  but that’s ok when you are going through something I can’t wait to say the same thing to you. (Ha ha ha.)

Tr:  I hope you do.  I will probably need to hear it.  Actually, that is what you do. You are always reminding me of what I have, and how good things are. And many times right when I am complaining! You won’t even let me get into it good.

Ck:  Touche.  Time to practice my positivity now.  Be thankful right now.

    Tr:  I agree,

Ck:  I am thankful that all my tires have air and I will make it to my destination.  I am thankful that my children are all healthy and happy.  I am thankful that my business is still maintaining well in spite of things being a little slower than usual.  I am thankful that I have good friends in my world to laugh and talk with.  I am thankful for this positive philosophy and my meditation teachings.  I am thankful for the restored health that is on its way. I am thankful for. . .

  • Today’s Poetry (Maybe It is Time)

Maybe it’s time to put things to the test

And once again see if the magic is real

It seems it is time for whole new adventures

Sometimes I can tell by the challenges I face

I have done this many times before

And had unbelievable beauty come my way

The Universe has spoken to me so many times

When I have the courage to follow God has shown up

I have found Heaven in the strangest of places

If you have never burst open you ask “What does he mean?”

With this science I have seen rocks turn into gold

When I changed my ways my world transformed

When the tough times come.  This is the time to go back to what works.   This is the time to ask the Universe for our next move. This is the time to meditate and go within. This is the time to be true to our lessons, and pay attention to the signs that come our way.

  • Attracting More Wonderful Gifts From The Universe

Yesterday I was talking to my friend Aaron who is an electrician for the union, and fellow positive guru.  He was saying that he had been working ten to twelve hours a day on his current job project, but this week, they only have him working eight hours.  He said that he was happy to be getting off early.  He also said that he would probably be back to having to work the weekends this week too. He then said he was happy for extra time and money on the weekend.

We both concluded that is the way to be in life.  “I’ll be happy and thankful for the time off when God and the Universe gives it to me, and be thankful and embrace it when the extra work comes too. I take what the Universe brings my way and work with it.”

This is what we call rolling with the Universe, and being happy for the gifts that come our way. This in turn opens up the way for, and attracts more wonderful gifts in the future.  He or she who can adopt this attitude will have many good things come their way, and they will show up as if by magic.

    Peace and Blessing

  • Today’s Poetry (To be one of those men)

I close my eyes and see four men walking

These four men are an incredible sight

As I see them walk, they have a different way of moving

They take each step like the Universe is with them

They move with the ojas of peace and love

They move in a way that is so hard to describe

They move like they are floating on a spiritual quest

When you look at them you think nothing can touch them

As I continue to view all my problems have left me

My way is so clear, I have a brand new sight

Nothing else matters and I am one of them

Like I exist on this other plane and still exist here

As I come out, there is no question, this is the goal of life

To change the world as I live on my spiritual quest

To forget about the other characters, and play my part well

To be one of those men, to be one of those men!

  • Today’s Poetry (This yoga I practice makes life so easy!)

    Most Beautiful Lotus Flowers Wallpapers

I awakened this morning and could barely take it

Worried about my loved ones, How could I go on?

I decided to chant my mantra and talk to God

I literally did this with each and every breath

Within a short while I began to feel peace

It came so quickly I could not believe it

It was as though I entered a whole new world

I dare not stop my yoga practice

I kept repeating surprised, I felt no more pain

“What if I did this all day long?

Will you protect my loved ones and transform my world?”

I opened up a book for guidance

“I Dare You To Try It!” is what the page read

I rise to the challenge and now I float on!

This yoga I practice makes life so easy!

But how can you believe what you do not try?

  • Today’s Positive Poetry…There comes a time to start living as that person

    hero_paddling_packs_v2_m56577569831500863-pagespeed-ce-vy0u5bqndz

There comes a time to start living as that person

When this time comes we will know it, and have to be true

Being true to the inner you, is the start of truly being alive

Its the start of something magical, and the whole world is anew

A true moment is so deep, it can last forever

Think back on these moments, when you want to be true

A true moment is so intoxicating, like you had never lived before

And when you are in it you can’t believe all that is taking place

In a true moment, we move past all that has held us back

and say “This is where I have to be, I can’t take it any more”

In a true moment, we take a risk and choose to forget

about how we may look, or obstacles in the way

What we have to gain, is a chance to be alive once again

So we forge forward, and begin to feel free

What do you know, I am alive once again!

When I am true to the moment, it comes in an instant!
