  • My Wonderful Journey (today’s poetry)

And then I saw how the people in my life were gifts, given to me to help shape who I am and who I am becoming. My grandmother, my grandfather, my family and friends up until this point, had all been gifts. As I saw this in my mind, there was a beautiful golden rain falling, like a sign telling me these people and times were truly special. And all the answers were surprisingly being revealed right in the midst of all this beauty.  “And I too am a gift” is what I was told. And I knew right then with everything in me that my entire life has been…

  • The Parable of The Trees (This Month’s Page From 30 Days)

God created everything. He made the sun, the moon, the earth, the people and the animals. God also created the trees. Each tree bares it’s own fruit, and the birds flock accordingly. We have to be more like the trees. A tree knows its place. You don’t find the apple tree trying to bare coconuts. The weeping willow knows it belongs near the lake. The palm tree only shows up in warmer climates. When the trees bear their fruit, the birds, insects, bees etc., come automatically. The tree doesn’t have go out chasing after them. We must find our place under the sun, and be there. We just need to…

  • All Is Divinely Placed

Today’s Thought…My life is a walk through Heaven. Everyone and everything is divinely placed in my world, helping me move deeper into growth, enjoyment and the life of my dreams. We must remember that everyone and everything in our life, whether seemingly bad or good, is happening for our benefit, if we can see it this way.  We just have to be open to where the Universe is trying to guide us and move with it.  If we can do this, we will be surprised by the results. Peace and Blessings Craig Kimbrough for Positive Guru Blog

  • Don’t Take My Word For It, I Dare You To Try It. (This Month’s Page From 30 Days Of Metaphysics)

As we make our journey along the spiritual path, we must learn to look at ourselves as spiritual scientists, putting everything to the test for ourselves before declaring it real. When I first began to learn to meditate my teacher would talk to me about other worlds, past lives and all sorts of things he saw in meditation. Although I believed him to certain degree, I decided I had to see these things for myself. So I learned how to meditate, and did everything he told me, just to see if he was telling me the truth. When I did, I was shocked. The experiences I had truly blew my…

  • God, The Universe, is Nearer than hands and feet, closer than breathing (This month’s page from 30 Days of Metaphysics)

My teacher used to ask  “If God is nearer than hands and feet, closer than breathing, where are we going to find him?”  Think about it. If God is nearer than hands and feet, closer than breathing where does that mean God is?  Now we human beings tend to look outside ourselves for everything. Our happiness, our security, our self worth, you name it, we believe it is outside of ourselves.  “Somewhere in the outside world that’s where I’m going to find it. There’s no way I can find it within myself”. We also tend to do the same with God. We look for God outside of ourselves.   But the…
