God, The Universe, is Nearer than hands and feet, closer than breathing (This month’s page from 30 Days of Metaphysics)

My teacher used to ask  “If God is nearer than hands and feet, closer than breathing, where are we going to find him?”  Think about it. If God is nearer than hands and feet, closer than breathing where does that mean God is?  Now we human beings tend to look outside ourselves for everything. Our happiness, our security, our self worth, you name it, we believe it is outside of ourselves.  “Somewhere in the outside world that’s where I’m going to find it. There’s no way I can find it within myself”. We also tend to do the same with God. We look for God outside of ourselves.   But the Kingdom of Heaven is within. If we could ever stop chasing the world, slow down, both in body and in mind, and sit still we’d be surprised at the results.

From the book 30 Days of Metaphysics and Miracles by Craig Kimbrough

As I read this month’s page from 30 Days of Metaphysics and Miracles, I was reminded that if God is nearer than hands and feet or better yet within, so is our answers, and all of our desired situations.

On The Main Road

When you are on the main road, you have no enemies

When you are on the main road, you don’t worry about problems

When you are on the main road, you look for the harmony

When you are on the main road, you are in heaven here and now

When you are on the main road, you take time to meditate

When you are on the main road, you look for the lesson

When you are on the main road, you are thankful for all things

When you are on the main road there is nothing to prove

On the main road, the Universe reveals

On the main road, people are wonderful

On the main road, life is like a dream

The main road is the result of all these things

How are your new years resolutions coming along? Are you willing to start them over again?

Image result for free images of new years eve and clocks

We often hear about how the gyms are packed just after the new year and how soon afterwards it all wears off.  No more packed gyms. Over the years I have learned that most of us think about making some sort of new start around the new year, whether we officially make a commitment or not.  I am no different.  I personally think it is a great thing to think about self improvement, moving to the next level or finally living the life of your dreams. Or even if you have been living the life of your dreams, I also think it is great to move into more challenging dreams.  And what better time to do so than when a whole new year is beginning.

So my question for you is how is your’s going so far?  How is your brand new diet, new way of being, new way of acting, new life? Are you on track?  Oh me? Mine is going great. I just started again yesterday. That’s right yesterday, January 18th!  I felt like I didn’t really get into it enough this new year, so I started again. And why not?  I feel like every day is another chance to move into our potential life, and live as that potential person, right here, right now.

At our Sunday meetings each person says in a sentence what they are looking forward to or thankful for, while the rest of the group chants Om.  One of the members of the group, my friend Wayne, recently says the same thing each week.   He says “I am moving into the life I am meant to live.”  Mine is very similar. I am going to play my part to the fullest.  My potential part that is, and be the person that I see in my meditations and dreams, that is doing things I may normally hesitate to do.  And I want to spend my time and focus in the ways I know I should.  In other words I will be the character that belongs in my great movie, poem or book. For yesterday and today, so far I have done great. And I am on a high.

I have been reading more, meditating more, and decided to move on a sign I got to take a big financial risk for my meditation teaching endeavors, and positive movement. I am doing the same for my other business.  I am also acting more quickly on signs I get for my personal life.  And if I fall off or slip up, it is okay.  I still choose to be that great character and get back into my part. But enough about me.

How about you? How is your new year starting off? And if it is not to your satisfaction Are you willing to start again?

Peace and Blessings

“When The Student Is Ready The Teacher Appears” This Month’s Page From 30 Days

We attract our entire life situation based on who we are as a soul and the lessons we have to learn. Each lesson or experience, person or situation that comes into our lives is a teacher that shows up just when we are ready for that particular lesson.  Understanding this, we begin to realize that if there is something we want to learn, experience or have, all we have to do is prepare for it and be ready for the experience, and we will be guided.  Teachers will show up in the form of people, lessons or situations, to take us where we want to go.

The same thing is true for the mystical teacher. There comes a time that we
cannot go any further on the spiritual path without instructions from another human being. This is when he or she shows up to instruct us how to travel within to higher regions so we can realize our oneness with God and The Universe. The laws of affinity and our inward readiness command the teacher to show up in our world. We don’t even have to look.  All we have to do is continue on our path and keep an open mind both prior to and when he or she appears.

Note:  Every month I will share a page from my book Thirty Days of Metaphysics and Miracles.  The idea is to read the page and incorporate it in your world by making it your message, seeing how it applies to what is currently going on in your life, and then living accordingly. Many who have tried doing this have reported astonishing results. People who have the book, randomly choose a page daily. For those who choose to participate, this is the page and main message for this month.

We are all constantly meditating, thinking focusing, but what are we meditating on?

All day every day we are focusing on one thing or another, our fears our hopes our dreams. If we are not careful this is what our meditation looks like. “Why is she mad at me?” “Why is he upset.” “How am I going to get that money?” or whatever or it is we are worried about.

All these thoughts and mantras, are okay, some are quite good, but the ancients say, and I agree, that if we put our attention on the spirit within, and meditate, and focus on the good, like things we are thankful for, the rest takes care of itself.  Ideas, information, help, show up out of nowhere, and we find ourselves experiencing great peace and happiness.

What a great dream… What is your dream for today?

look up at the sun picture

I was meditating and talking to my teacher, Mr. Ambrister, who in this reality had passed on some 13 years ago.  The next thing I knew, I saw a group of people sitting in a circle. As I approached the circle, I was being told that our mission is to live and spread peace, love and happiness everywhere we go.  As I moved further into the circle I saw more light and I felt so good that it was unbelievable.  To tell you the truth, I could not tell if I was the one telling the group, or if someone was telling me all of this.  The one thing I did know, was that I was a major player in the this arena that I was in, and I felt great about the mission, and the fact that I was to play a part in it.  Then, I woke up. And I said to myself, “what a great dream!”

Upon awaening, I thought, “this is what my life is to be about.”  And I was so thankful for the experience.  I was reminded that we all need dreams and ideas to aspire to.  And my question to us all is, what is your dream for today?

Rather than seek attention

I would like to be authentic and truly be free

and forget about the other characters

I just want to give and not look back

This is the way I prefer to be

to move with the universe and the peace that I seek

We must not get caught up in what they think

Latest Meditation Question… How do you meditate and get centered during times of high stress?

Image result for free images of meditation

Answer:  During times of stress it can be difficult to meditate for sure.  Maybe just prior to whatever is taking place in your world, you were able to sit down, meditate and feel good, blissful, and fulfilled.  You may have even noticed that that good feeling carried on into your world after the meditation, and made for a great day.  Now during the time of stress and difficulty, when you meditate, your mind just goes right back to the problem, and you may even be sad or angry before meditating and after.  You may even sit down for a minute and try to concentrate and find yourself saying “forget it, this is not working.”

Here are a couple tips.

1. Change your walking meditation.

We are all meditating, or focusing on something, all day long.  If you are thinking about what you don’t like all day, when you sit down to meditate, your mind will still be focused on that.  So instead, throughout the day, think about and talk about the good in your world.  Or think about and talk about possible good.  Listen to and watch movies music etc. about good positive things, including people overcoming great challenges, maybe even miracles.  Such focus and thoughts are preparing you for great meditation sessions.

2.  Remind yourself and convince yourself that meditation and higher thoughts truly make a difference.

You can do this by talking to friends who meditate, about successes that seem to happen on account of meditation in the past.  You can also read material dealing with others accounts on the power of meditation. Be creative and consider it to be an experiment. You will find that the more you find ways to convince yourself that it works, the more you will be shocked by how much you want to meditate, and the incredible results that follow. Many times, I remind myself of times in the past when I stepped up my meditations and the incredible results that followed.

If you try these two things, your meditations, and the results of your meditations should improve dramatically.

Peace and Blessings

Latest Question for Craig “I like to think of my life as being easy. And I even think it is supposed to be. Is this a good idea?”

Image result for free images of questions

Craig ‘s answer: As you know my teacher, Mr. Ambrister, used to say “and Craig, its gonna be easy!”  And he would say this during the most difficult of times, quite often when things looked impossible.  And the crazy thing is, for the most part, that is how things have been.  Even the most impossible situations seemed to work out, and not just work out, but work out in ways that were astonishing.

I can still remember, years ago when I was fighting for custody, to be able to have my children half the time.  The judge told my lawyer to tell me to give up. But instead, I meditated more, read more positive books, and I did everything my teacher told me to do. And I kept going to court. And to my surprise, everything just worked out.  Not only did I get to be with them, and raise them, half the time, but now some 15 plus years later, my first wife (their mother) and I get along great. And even more crazy, It was easy! Sure there were difficult times, but when I look back, it was all quite magical, and even easy. And this is just one of many situations, that looked difficult on the surface, but became easy.

Now here is the trick. When we get centered, meditate, and flood our mind with the positive and spiritual, magical things just happen.  Money shows up, ideas come, and people miraculously change their minds. I have seen it happen time and time again, in my life and in my friends lives, in so many ways I could go on for days.

Now I am not saying that life won’t give us great challenges.  The challenges make life interesting.  (No challenges, no miracles) But when we turn our attention to the higher path, and keep it there as much as possible.  We find ourselves at peace, and we see things work out, as if by magic.

On another note… Expect the best and I’ll be the best. “In other words, tell yourself Its gonna be easy!” Believe it, and it will.

Sincerely,
