It’s time for a new year.

It’s time for a new start.

It’s time for a new me.

Its time for a new you.

Time to go where we belong.

Time to truly sing our song.

Time to be and live strong.

Our time has been waiting all along.

Time to go within.

Time to rebegin.

Time to see what’s in,

The stars for us again.

Time for us to be.

Time for us to see.

A perfect path that’s laid out.

To be lived by you and me.

How are your new years resolutions coming along? Are you willing to start them over again?

We often hear about how the gyms are packed just after the new year and how soon afterwards it all wears off.  No more packed gyms. Over the years I have learned that most of us think about making some sort of new start around the new year, whether we officially make a commitment or not.  I am no different.  I personally think it is a great thing to think about self improvement, moving to the next level or finally living the life of your dreams. Or even if you have been living the life of your dreams, I also think it is great to move into more challenging dreams.  And what better time to do so than when a whole new year is beginning.

So my question for you is how is your’s going so far?  How is your brand new diet, new way of being, new way of acting, new life? Are you on track?  Oh me? Mine is going great. I just started again yesterday. That’s right yesterday, January 18th!  I felt like I didn’t really get into it enough this new year, so I started again. And why not?  I feel like every day is another chance to move into our potential life, and live as that potential person, right here, right now.

At our Sunday meetings each person says in a sentence what they are looking forward to or thankful for, while the rest of the group chants Om.  One of the members of the group, my friend Wayne, recently says the same thing each week.   He says “I am moving into the life I am meant to live.”  Mine is very similar. I am going to play my part to the fullest.  My potential part that is, and be the person that I see in my meditations and dreams, that is doing things I may normally hesitate to do.  And I want to spend my time and focus in the ways I know I should.  In other words I will be the character that belongs in my great movie, poem or book. For yesterday and today, so far I have done great. And I am on a high.

I have been reading more, meditating more, and decided to move on a sign I got to take a big financial risk for my meditation teaching endeavors, and positive movement. I am doing the same for my other business.  I am also acting more quickly on signs I get for my personal life.  And if I fall off or slip up, it is okay.  I still choose to be that great character and get back into my part. But enough about me.

How about you? How is your new year starting off? And if it is not to your satisfaction Are you willing to start again?

Peace and Blessings

Craig
