My Wonderful Journey (today’s poetry)

And then I saw how the people in my life were gifts, given to me to help shape who I am and who I am becoming.

My grandmother, my grandfather, my family and friends up until this point, had all been gifts.

As I saw this in my mind, there was a beautiful golden rain falling, like a sign telling me these people and times were truly special.

And all the answers were surprisingly being revealed right in the midst of all this beauty.  “And I too am a gift” is what I was told.

And I knew right then with everything in me that my entire life has been magical.

Then a new screen saver pops up on my computer that I had never seen before, reminding me of a great movement on the horizon.

And once again I knew what to do with the rest of my life, as I was taken back to a vision I had years ago.

And even as I write my accounts I remind myself “don’t worry about what anyone thinks just write. So I do.

And then I think back to the page I had just opened up to in my journal, telling me more of who I am and the life I am to live.

And I remember the question I asked just before going within

“What am I going to do with the rest of my life?”

And I am thankful for my wonderful journey.
