Today’s Positive Thought and Challenge (Method acting for your place in life)

Think about it. What does your character look like? How does he carry himself and go about his day? What kind of meals does he eat? What time does he get up in the mornings? What things does he do that goes along with the incredible part he is to live out. If your character is wealthy and you are not, think about how she would be if she was the same incredible character placed in your situation? How would she accomplish what needs to be done to make this an incredible movie. Does your character care about what others think or is he simply about his mission? Does he spend a lot of time watching meaningless television or does he watch uplifting shows and movies in his spare time while in the midst of his latest adventure. Imagine the audience is watching at all times. Does she live and do all the things that go along with the part? “How can you have the Ghandi movie is you never see him him meditate?” Once again think about and do all that goes along with the part.

If you can give her a title that represents just who she is. No time for waiting. Think of yourself as this person. Live your life out as that person. Take time for meditating, reflecting and asking the Universe for a better picture of this person in your mind. Do these things like your life depends on it, and watch your incredible character and part come to life.

Thanks for this reminder! Acting “as-if” always works so well for me, but I love this method acting way of framing it. It makes so much sense to line you life up with the “movie” you want to star in.

Thank you Michelle. I am glad that you like the post. I always liked the idea and results of acting as if also. Years ago I learned what method acting is, and I said to myself. ” This is what we all should be doing, acting as if this is who we are (our potential character) all the time.” Thanks again Peace and Blessings
